Originally built in 1820 as a Wesleyan chapel, the Old Warehouse has had a chequered history until quite recently when a local boat builder turned it into a residence. The result is the unique house we see today, situated in a quiet, peaceful street within sight and sound of the river, yet only a stone's throw from the town centre and five minutes walk from the railway station. Woodbridge is a delightful little market town with many historic buildings including the famous Tide mill. Sitting on the banks of the River Deben it offers a scenic walk, a busy sailing scene and traditional boat building businesses. It also has a thriving olde-worlde shopping area, many high quality restaurants and pubs full of character, The Anglo Saxon burial ground of Sutton Hoo is just across the river and only a few miles by road, London is 1 and a half hours by train but a million light years away.
