We are looking forward to welcoming you into our home - a 16th century, heavily timbered, moated farmhouse. Our aim is to enable you, our guest, to have a relaxing break, away from the stress and strain of normal everyday life. Holidays and week-end breaks can easily be tailored to suit individual requirements. Wingfield is a small village on the Suffolk Norfolk border. In Tudor times Wingfield was one of the wealthiest villages in the country – mainly due to the wool trade, - the privately owned Castle and St Andrews Church bear witness to this. We are ideally situated for visiting the delights of the Suffolk coast - be it historic Dunwich or the more lively Lowestoft. Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich are all less than an hours drive and the beautiful scenery of Constable Country not much further.
