A Victorian house built in the 1860's, Five Gables was a colliery house. Firstly for the Colliery Manager, then in later years for the Colliery Engineer. It still retains much of the original architecture though has been modernised to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The accommodation is in the owners' own home, which is set in approximately two-thirds of an acre with extensive views to the south & west. Guests have access to the garden and to country walks immediately outside the property.
