Balmeanach Park is a quiet site set within a forest and has its own 7 acres(Environmentally Sensitive Area). This is a district which offers forest walks marked by Forest Enterprise. Winner of the Simple FX Best campsite award 2003. A 20 minute walk to the Sound of Mull and Lochaline Ferry Terminal. Numerous seabirds include herons feeding their young, birds of prey, buzzards, hawks, eagles, owls and many small forest birds. Good location for south, west and north. Shops are a 10 minute drive or use the bus service.
