Craigrowan is a mid-Victorian house, modernised and upgraded but still retaining many of its original features. It is set in 15 acres of croft land on the edge of the peaceful village of Strontian at the head of beautiful Loch Sunart. Our croft is a mixture of rough hill and deciduous woods, and borders a beautiful forest walk.We are part of the Rural Stewardship Scheme and graze Highland cattle to encourage the growth of indigenous wild flowers, which in turn support large numbers of birds, butterflies etc. Our hens are truly free-range, laying delicious eggs for your breakfast, and our delightful pigs Lily and Bertha will appreciate your attention (preferably acompanied by food). You are welcome to wander over the croft (bring your wellies!)
