We are tucked under the hill behind the village of Strontian. Bring your own tourer, motor home or tent and feel the tensions of modern living ease away as you absorb the peace and quiet of our small family-run park. Superb facilities, barbecues, picnic tables and a pets corner (hatching chicks, rabbits and lots of babies for the children) make Glenview very special. Strontian has two shops for all your shopping needs, a post office and three hotels which serve bar meals, all within a few minutes walk of the park. Ariundle Nature Reserve, the old lead mines where you can pick up pieces of Strontianite - sometimes containing Strontium 90 (used in making nuclear bombs and named after the village), excellent hill walking and the climbing area of Garbh Bheinn are all within easy access of Glenview. Good fishing is available in the nearby rivers, in the hill lochs and on Loch Sunart.
